Expert meeting of faculty members and graduate students of the Occupational Health Department at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences (TBZMED) with Dr. Faramarz Helali

In an attempt to develop international cooperation between educational groups at the Tabriz University of Medical Sciences (TBZMED) with universities abroad, a one-day expert meeting was held in the Occupational Health Department at TBZMED with Dr. Faramarz Helali, a guest researcher at Luleå University of Technology, Sweden and specialist in the fields of macroergonomics and human factors.   

This program was divided into two sessions; an expert meeting with academic members of the Occupational Health Department and also a general meeting with MSc and PhD students of ergonomics and occupational health engineering. 

In the expert meeting, the members were introduced and familiarized with each other’s educational and research backgrounds, and then they discussed their points of view for creating interaction between TBZMED and Luleå University of Technology, particularly between Dr. Helali and the faculty members of the Occupational Health Department. In this regard, Dr. Helali proposed to develop an interaction program thereby educational and research cooperation could be started. If this is successful, it can lead to signing a contract between two sides for creating joint research centers as well as joint educational and research programs.
